Suffering from diabetes will increase your risk of suffering from heart disease and stroke therefore, those kind of food must be avoided.

Some of the food that are recommended are vegetables, fruits, complex carbohydrate like whole grain and brown rice, fish that is rich of omega 3 such as, tuna, salmon, and mackerel, good fat in avocado and nuts, and low-fat milk and other dairy products.

For your breakfast, you may drink a glass of skim milk and one slice of brown bread with 2 teaspoon of margarine. For lunch, you may eat salad, 50 g of grilled chicken breast, an orange, and low-fat yoghurt. For supper, you may eat 50g of tuna, salad, half a cup of brown rice, and a glass of coffee or tea.
